Design: George Nelson
A mid-century classic, the Bubble Lamps were first designed by George Nelson in 1947 and were produced by Howard Miller starting in the early 1950s and ending in 1979. Modernica has reissued the Nelson Bubble Lamps to the original specifications, using the original Herman Miller tooling. The frame is made of steel with polymer covering, a brushed nickel canopy and each pendant comes with 6 feet of wire that can be field shortened. These famous lamps are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and you can find them at Intro through SCP.
